Rolling Fork continues recovery four months after tornado
SUMMARY: Residents of Rolling Fork, Mississippi are still recovering from the effects of a deadly tornado that hit four months ago, damaging homes, schools, and businesses. However, they are beginning to see positive changes in their community thanks to the help of outside organizations like “Rolling Fork Build Back Better.” One Maine Financial has been instrumental in providing support, and the regional director, Gwen Adams, says that the residents are grateful for the assistance. The nonprofit group has purchased 13 lots and 17 acres inside Rolling Fork to build new homes, removing old foundations in preparation. Overall, residents are optimistic and thankful for the ongoing help.
