Primary runoff elections happening Tuesday in Mississippi

SUMMARY: Tomorrow is the Primary runoff elections in the state, which will determine the winners of several state and local legislative races. These races were necessary as no candidate received the majority of votes during the August 8th primaries. Voters will only be able to vote within their own party as they did in the previous primary. The polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm on Tuesday. WTVA 9 News will provide full election coverage on their television broadcast, app, and website. Gabe will be back to report on the elections.

SUMMARY: Participants and supporters gathered for the Brau Burn 5K in Ridgeland, a fundraiser for the South St Joseph Catholic School athletic department. The run started in front of the Mississippi Center for Plastic Surgery. In addition to supporting the school's athletic program, participants also donated pet food to the Webster Animal Shelter. This not only helped the furry friends at the shelter but also allowed for more children to participate in the school's athletic programs without additional costs to their parents.
