Nick's Sunday PM Forecast 6/16
SUMMARY: Happy Father's Day, Pine Belt! This weekend's weather has seen increased rain and cloud cover, bringing a significant break from the recent searing heat. Temperatures dropped to 75°F from 95°F, with intermittent showers. Southernly flows are bringing tropical moisture to the area, causing scattered rain, thunderstorms, and damp conditions. A disturbance in the Gulf could become a tropical depression, possibly named Alberto, but it's more likely to impact Mexico or far south Texas. Rain chances remain high due to this tropical moisture. Tonight's forecast is 73°F with potential rogue storms and more scattered rain expected tomorrow.
