Pickens County native overcomes barrier to play golf at MUW
SUMMARY: Caleb Jennings, a golfer from Pickens County, Alabama, did not have the opportunity to play on a high school golf team. However, he believed he had the skills and drive to play college golf. He began entering tournaments and using recruiting apps to get recognized. With the support of his family and mentors, Jennings was able to earn a scholarship to Mississippi University for Women. Despite facing obstacles, Jennings’ story shows that hard work and dedication can lead to success. He hopes to continue his golf career at the Division 1 level in the future.
