SUMMARY: Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College celebrated its 2024 spring commencement ceremony at the coast coliseum, where over 1,200 students from various campuses received their associate of arts degrees and certificates. Brandon Elliot of Elliot Holes was the guest speaker, and Dr. Graham handed out the degrees. Students expressed excitement and pride in achieving their educational goals, with one student even earning an associate's degree while still in high school. Additionally, the college recently held a pinning ceremony for 250 nursing and healthcare students, as Gulf Coast continues to see a growing number of students pursuing bachelor's degrees in the health field.
