Petal aldermen to be asked to vote on proposed housing development
SUMMARY: A proposed development in Petal is expected to create over a million dollars in revenue in its first year. The planning commission is recommending that the board of alderman approve the project, which calls for the neighborhood to be built off Corinth Road near the 3-mile cutoff. The mayor says the project would consist mostly of single-family homes, with a few other properties. The issue will be discussed and voted on by the board of aldermen next week.
