North Mississippi is experiencing severe weather with tornado warnings and hail. Meanwhile, South Mississippi is expected to see a warm up with sunshine pushing temperatures into the upper 80s on Friday. Rain showers are expected over the weekend with the best chance on Sunday. Saturday will have a 30% chance of rain with most of it moving in overnight and through Sunday morning. Temperature will cool down on Sunday before rising back into the 80s next week.

A big weekend of events Saturday, May 4, at The MAX

36th Annual Joseph “Joe” Brown Memorial Golf Classic coming May 10 to Briarwood
