Oxford shooting suspect arrested; Police allegedly find drugs in his home
SUMMARY: Oxford Police in Mississippi arrested Lakerrian Ruffin in connection with a shooting that left a man critically injured at the Links Apartments parking lot. Ruffin was found with a large quantity of drugs at his home. The victim was transferred to Regional One in Memphis for treatment. Ruffin is facing charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault, with a bond set at $250,000 and a hold from the Mississippi Department of Corrections. SUMMARY: Jackson police have issued arrest warrants for Bernard Brown, 54, and Delbrico Tims, 18, in connection to a double homicide on Capitol Street. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous and will be charged with murder in the case. The victims were identified as Glen Stevens and Johnny Booker, Jr. The shooting occurred on Thursday, April 4 around 6:00 p.m. Those with information on the whereabouts of Brown and Tims are urged to contact the Jackson Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
