Orchestra director at USM to conduct his final symphony Saturday

His final performance, titled “Titan,” will be the orchestra's last of its 104th season. The performance will feature Gustav Mahler's Symphony Number One, the piece that inspired Miles to pursue a career in music education. The new director, Dr. Gregory WC, will take over from Miles and from Austin PE in Tennessee.

River Avenue Bridge nearing completion
