One arrested, one wanted for Copiah County homicide
SUMMARY: Copiah County deputies arrested Matthew Nelson in connection to the homicide of Billy Ray Jones, whose body was found partially burned on the side of Highway 472. The deputies are also searching for Tyrell Deonte Bridges, who is considered armed and dangerous. Both Nelson and Bridges are charged with kidnapping and murder. Nelson is currently in custody without bond. If anyone has information on Bridges' whereabouts, they are encouraged to contact the Copiah County Sheriff's Office. Columbus projects progress report: City leaders give update

Tupelo city hall hosts 10 year “reflection of tornado” program
