The incident happened at a local baseball field where it is believed the boy came into contact with an electric box on a light pole. He was alert when taken to the hospital for further testing. The West Point Police Officer has confirmed the incident and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause. The West Point water and light department has shut down the complex to ensure safety. Baseball games will resume on Monday as police continue to investigate the incident.

Capitol police arrest bank robbery suspect
