SUMMARY: weather improves on Saturday, but cooler air settles in by Sunday. Daylight saving time begins on Sunday at 2 AM. For now, it looks like the best chance for severe storms will be along and south of I-20 later on Friday evening into possibly early Saturday. Stay tuned for updates, but heavy rain with flooding is a concern. Early estimates of 1-3 inches of rain look possible. Despite the potential storms on Friday, the weather is expected to improve next week on a mild and nice note.

2 arrested for selling meth near church
SUMMARY: Two people, Christopher Adams and Jessica Davis, were arrested by the ATA County Sheriff's Department for selling meth near a church. Adams is charged with selling meth within 1500 feet of a church and is being held in jail without bond. Davis was charged with possession and is currently out on bond. The arrests occurred after a search warrant was executed at a home on Highway 363 in Manache. Sheriff Mitch Neighbors announced the arrests.
Two people were arrested in Itawamba County for selling meth near a church.

West Point Police seek stolen ATVs
SUMMARY: West Point Police are seeking information on a burglary at Adventure ATV where a red and white Canam 1R side by side was stolen. The incident occurred before midnight, with the burglar wearing all black and escaping west on West Church Hill Road. Police urge anyone with information to contact them to help locate the suspect and the stolen vehicle.
A West Point shop for outdoor vehicles became the scene of a burglary Friday night, and police need your help finding the suspect.

Pollinator Palooza sprouts for second year in New Albany
