MDOT provides updates on local road projects
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Department of Transportation has provided updates on various construction and maintenance projects in the area. One project involves the replacement of state route 182 bridges over White Creek canal and Little Black Creek in Eupora. The bridges will be built one at a time to ensure access for properties between them, with completion expected in the fall of 2024. Additionally, a Mill and overlay project is underway on Highway 45, from south of State Route 8 in Monroe County to the Chickasaw County Line. The main line paving is complete, and shoulder work and striping are in progress, expected to finish this fall. Lastly, a Mill and overlay project in Winston County is almost finished, covering State Route 25 from Attalla County to Plattsburgh Road, and State Route 19 from Neshoba County to Attalla County, anticipated to be completed in late summer of this year.

National Speech-Language-Hearing Month
