Grenada city leaders wanting to build new event center

The team's junior guard, Ty-Yawn Boler, was named the preseason player of the year, while senior center Angel Jackson was named the preseason defensive player of the year. Overall, Jackson State University's women's basketball team is a favorite to win the SWAC title.
