Man sentenced for selling fentanyl
SUMMARY: A man named Mitchell Pendleton has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for selling fentanyl in Madison County. He was arrested after an investigation that started in September 2022, when an informant bought oxycodone pills from him. The pills tested positive for fentanyl, a deadly drug. The district attorney of Madison and Rankin County, Bubba Bramlett, stated that fentanyl is killing people every day. He emphasized that there are only two outcomes if you sell fentanyl: prison time or death. Pendleton's guilty plea led to his lengthy sentence for his role in distributing the dangerous drug.
