SUMMARY: The sheriff’s race in Jackson County is heating up as candidates campaign for votes. The primary elections are only eight days away, and this evening there will be a political forum at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center in Ocean Springs, moderated by Doug Walker. John Ledbetter, the acting sheriff, and other candidates like Robert Blocker, Robbie O’Bryant, and Louis Miller will be there to answer questions and debate the issues. The forum is an opportunity for residents of Jackson County to hear from those running for sheriff.

A candidates forum is set to take place in Ocean Springs Monday, just a week away from elections. Bill Snyder joins us live with more.
