SUMMARY: Taylor was served a demand letter for over 16-thousand dollars when she was arrested. Her sentencing order will be filed later. The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department is preparing to launch its ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' blitz campaign. It will set up sobriety checkpoints every day starting Friday, December 15th through January 1st. Sheriff elect Ward Calhoun says these checkpoints are put in place to ensure your safe during the holiday season. He emphasizes that it's their goal to have their roadways as safe as possible by making sure those individuals who choose to make the decision to drive while impaired know that they're going to be out there, and they'll be looking for them. Their hope is that people will make a good choice and decide to drive sober.
