Kiffin: Ole Miss will not abandon run game despite early-season struggles
SUMMARY: Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin is concerned about the team's struggling running game in the 2023 season. Despite finishing among the top rushing leaders in the SEC in previous seasons, the team has only rushed for a combined 267 yards and four touchdowns in the first two weeks. All-American running back Quinshon Judkins has underperformed, prompting questions about a sophomore slump. However, ESPN and SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic blames the offensive line for the team's rushing difficulties. Kiffin plans to stick with the ground game, believing it is essential to his offensive philosophy. The team will face Georgia Tech next.
