Kids learn about deep-sea diving (sea life) at the Mississippi Aquarium's holiday camp

SUMMARY: On New Year’s Eve in South Mississippi, there will be several road closures. There was a fun and learning event at the Mississippi Aquarium where kids ages 7 to 11 learned about deep-sea diving and saw demonstrations with professionals. The interactive aspect allowed campers to experience the cool equipment used as well. The goal was to teach the campers something new about marine life. Education is one of the three pillars at the Mississippi Aquarium, making the event a great opportunity to get kids into classrooms and out into different habitats to meet with the different teams and learn about all the facets of the aquatic world and different career opportunities available at aquariums and institutions around the world.
