Interview: Tupelo High School High Tide to perform at spring showcase
SUMMARY: The Tupelo High School high tide presents its Spring Showcase, featuring 13 members singing all AC Capella. Auditions are held every spring to select members, and they perform a mix of jazz and other genres. The Showcase will be on May 2nd and 3rd, featuring unique “coralgraph” movements. Song selections are chosen collaboratively by the director and group members. Though there are no Taylor Swift songs, they will perform a song covered by her. The group is also raising funds for the Tupelo Humane Society. Supporting youth in the arts is important to the group, who aim to give back to the community through their music.
The concert will be held May 2-3 at the Tupelo High School Performing Arts Center at 7:00 each evening.
