Interview: Family Feud Fundraiser going on in Tupelo

SUMMARY: Good Samaritan Health Services is hosting their first-ever Family Feud fundraiser called The Tupelo Family Feud. The fundraiser aims to support their operating account, which provides healthcare services to working uninsured individuals in Lee County. The funds will be used to cover medical, dental, and pharmaceutical needs as well as preventative services. Although the event is sold out, people can still donate or participate in the online silent auction. This is the first time Good Samaritan Health Services has organized this type of fundraiser, as they previously held a toast and roast event.

Tickets are sold out for a fundraiser event. Live interview talking about this event, the first of its kind.

SUMMARY: Tarvin had a warrant for shooting into an occupied vehicle. A man who escaped custody after an apartment shooting turned himself in. The shooting happened at Pine Ridge Garden Apartments, injuring an 18-year-old who is now recovering. Amen Olu-Bala, 25, was taken into custody and faces charges of aggravated assault, shooting an occupied dwelling, and escape. The Hinds County Sheriff's Office reported the incident, where Olu-Bala escaped while being transported for questioning. He surrendered himself to authorities and is now in custody facing multiple charges related to the shooting incident.
