All lanes of the bridge are now open and south traffic is flowing all the way down to Highway 90. The reopening of the bridge is a relief, as replacing the damaged columns would have been a massive undertaking. Crews have made patches using newer materials to reinforce the structure. The bid for further work is still ongoing, but a contractor is expected to be selected within the next week.
