Gluckstadt expected to be home of $100 million sports complex
SUMMARY: A 43-acre site in Gluckstadt has been secured for a future $100 million sports complex, thanks to a land agreement with Stuart and Katie Warren. The Gluckstadt MegaDome Sports Complex will feature indoor courts, swimming pools, meeting space, a hotel, and restaurants. Expected to generate $50 million in annual economic impact, the facility is set to become the premier sports tourism destination in the country. The land agreement was made possible by 828 Sports Ventures, Turn Key Properties, and the Warren family. Chief Investment Officer Larry Fortune described the agreement as a significant step towards achieving the vision for the city of Gluckstadt.

SUMMARY: The Joe Brigance Memorial Park in Houston was vandalized by at least two individuals with the nicknames “Spooky” and “Draco.” The Houston Police Department is looking for the culprits responsible for tagging most of the playground equipment with a paint marker. The park is located across from Houston High School and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them. The police want those responsible to clean up their mess and are seeking community assistance in identifying the vandals. Images of the vandalism were shared on social media in hopes of generating leads.
