Funeral services for MS National Guardsmen killed in crash
SUMMARY: Funeral services for two Mississippi National Guard aviators killed in a helicopter crash were announced. Chief Warrant Officer 4 Derek Abbott’s service will be on Sunday while Chief Warrant Officer 4 Bryan Zemek’s service will be on Monday. The public is invited to attend both funerals. The two pilots were part of the Mississippi National Guard and were conducting a training flight when the crash occurred. There is no information yet on the cause of the crash. Abbott is survived by his wife and three children, while Zemek is survived by his wife and four children. The community is asked to line Highway 178 for the procession.

Driver dies after two-vehicle crash in Flowood
SUMMARY: A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred in Flowood, Mississippi, on October 31, just after noon. Involving a Honda Odyssey and a Toyota Camry, both drivers were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
