Former Newton County dispatcher charged with fraud
SUMMARY: Shannon Taylor, a former dispatcher at the Newton County Sheriff's Office, has been charged with embezzlement and fraud. State Auditor Shad White announced the charges and stated that Taylor altered her timesheets after they were approved by her supervisor. She was served with a demand letter for $16,263.72 at the time of her arrest.
