Clinton students return to school
SUMMARY: Students in the Clinton Public School District are returning to school a little earlier than usual this year. The modified schedule allows for eight weeks of summer vacation while still meeting the 180-day attendance law. Students will attend nine weeks of classes and then have two weeks off. The new principal of Clinton High School believes that adjusting to this schedule will be the next step for students. This modified calendar was approved by the district back in January.
Monday was the first day back to school for students in Clinton.
