Clinic vs. ER: Where you should go for help
SUMMARY: Health experts are putting out the word about when to go to a walk-in clinic. They have observed people with serious heart problems going to walk-in clinics instead of the emergency room when they should have sought help faster. She stresses the importance of knowing where to go and not delaying seeking help, especially for serious health concerns.

Small section of Deer Island up for sale
SUMMARY: A small portion of Deer Island, a 400-acre wilderness island owned by the state, is up for sale for $3.5 million. The owner, Larry Matranga, purchased a section of Deer Island in 2004 but has been unable to develop it due to infrastructure challenges and changing economic conditions. Several development projects have been proposed over the years, including a resort with a $900 million price tag, but none have come to fruition. Matranga remains hopeful that a sale could breathe new life into his dream of developing Deer Island, which sees 16 million visitors annually. Various transportation options, such as duckboats, ferries, or a gondola system, have been considered for access to the island.
The state owns most of the 400-acre island, but an eight-acre section has been privately owned for decades.
