Buzzy’s Breakfast to open Christmas morning for homeless
SUMMARY: Buzzy's Breakfast Joint in Ocean Springs, Mississippi will be the only public restaurant open on Christmas Day, offering meals to those in need. After realizing a nearby soup kitchen would not be open for the holiday, the restaurant owner decided to open and the local community has supported the effort by donating gift cards and volunteering to help serve the meals. Buzzy's Breakfast Joint will not be open to the entire public, but is inviting homeless people and others in need to come between 8 and 10 AM to get a meal.
