Buckley named superintendent of Catholic schools
Bishop Louis F. Kihneman III has hired Dr. Matt Buckley as superintendent of Catholic schools for the Diocese of Biloxi, effective June 1, 2023.
Buckley is the current principal of St. Patrick Catholic High School in Biloxi. He will succeed Dr. Michael Ladner, who served in the position from 2005 to 2018 and as an interim after Dr. Rhonda Clark left the position.
The diocese has not named a successor at St. Patrick.

Meggan Monday: 96-year-old just keeps on swimming

USM Graduate School holds annual Susan A. Siltanen Graduate Student Research Symposium
SUMMARY: The University of Southern Mississippi Graduate School's Susan A. Siltanen Graduate Student Research Symposium showcased the research of over 70 graduate students on April 18 at the Hattiesburg campus. The symposium featured oral and poster presentations, highlighting innovative scholarship by students. Winners were announced for oral presentations in categories such as Arts and Humanities, Physical Sciences and Mathematics, Social and Educational Sciences and Business, and Life, Health, and Environmental Sciences.
