5-year-old electrocuted Thursday night in West Point
SUMMARY: A 5-year-old boy was electrocuted at a sports complex in West Point but is recovering well in hospital. The incident happened at a local baseball field where it is believed the boy came into contact with an electric box on a light pole. He was alert when taken to the hospital for further testing. Capitol police arrest bank robbery suspect
SUMMARY: Capitol police have arrested a 46-year-old man, David Barret, in connection to a bank robbery at Trustmark bank on State Street. Barret demanded money from the teller and made off with over $700. He was apprehended and his vehicle and stolen money were recovered by the police.

Jones College graduate releasing first single
