Traveling exhibit set up in Pontotoc delves into decline of rural America
SUMMARY: A new traveling exhibit called “Crossroads: Change in Rural America” has arrived in Pon County at the Pon Community House, showcasing the history and heritage of the local area. Organized by the Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street program, the exhibit will be open to the public until June 8th, aiming to generate interest in both national and local history. The Ponak community is proud of its rich history and hopes that the exhibit will educate visitors about forgotten or lesser-known aspects of their heritage. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday from 4-5pm and Saturdays from 10am-5pm.
