Jones College hosts showcase in Wayne County

SUMMARY: Jones College County Center showcased their utility lineman program, preparing for hazardous in the workforce. Students earned multiple certifications OSHA core, forklift, CPR, and CDL. The program focuses on teamwork and hands-on skills training, with students rotating through different stations to practice grounding and changing insulators. While job placement in the industry is currently a , students have opportunities beyond working for a lineman crew.
