Petal teacher named state-level finalist for 2023-24 PAEMST

If selected, Broadbent will $10,000 from the National Science Foundation and be recognized at the White House. Broadbent is known for her engaging and fun teaching methods, focusing on making learning enjoyable for her . She is described as highly skilled and deserving of the award, with the ability to connect well with students and them succeed in mathematics. The winners will be announced in 2025.
