Louisville man pleads guilty to second degree murder
SUMMARY: A Lewisville man, Kendrick Nicholson, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for killing Tyreek Smith in 2022. He has been sentenced to 25 years in prison. The incident occurred after an argument between the two men, leading to Nicholson shooting Smith from underneath a carport. Smith managed to run 300 yards before police found him in a yard south of Fosta Street. He later died at the Wentworth County Medical Center. Nicholson admitted to the crime and will now face the consequences of his actions.
The man pleaded guilty on Monday and will serve 25 years in prison for a 2022 murder.
