Bridge closed several years ago in Macon could soon be reopened

The closure was due to years of heavy traffic causing wear and tear on the structure. The news of the bridge reopening will be welcomed by local and commuters who have had to find alternative routes during its closure.

The City of Macon received some money to repair the bridge that has been shut down for several years.
