Chaos at a Sydney mall as 6 people stabbed to death, and the suspect fatally shot

SUMMARY: Maurice Forte, a 29-year-old man from Jackson, Mississippi, has been sentenced to life in prison for the murders of his grandmother, mother, and pregnant sister in 2018. Forte was convicted on four counts of capital murder after fatally shooting the three women multiple times in their home. The victims were Forte's grandmother, mother, and sister who was seven-months pregnant. Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens stated that Forte showed “senseless violence” by shooting his grandmother eighteen times, his mother nine times, and his pregnant sister twice. Forte will serve life in prison without the possibility of parole for his actions.

SUMMARY: Texas and Mississippi Crime Stoppers are seeking help to identify a suspect in connection with an attempted murder in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The suspect is described as a large man wearing a black and red jacket, gray pants, and tan/brown boots. He fled the scene in a white Honda Accord with tinted windows.
