Easter at Highland Park
SUMMARY: The community came together to enjoy Easter Sunday afternoon at Highland Park, organized by the City of Meridian Parks and Recreation. The event featured more than just an Easter egg hunt, including music, food, golden egg prizes, and fun for the whole family. Children were able to win baskets and dance, bringing joy to the community. Many felt grateful for the opportunity to see kids playing outside instead of being on their smartphones, attributing the festive atmosphere to Jesus being the reason for the season. This was one of two Easter egg hunts put on by Meridian Parks and Recreation.
