Woman arrested for firing shots at vehicle during Madison road rage incident
SUMMARY: A 25-year-old woman from Brandon, Deemmareld Charlae Blackmore, was arrested by Madison police for firing shots at another vehicle during a road rage incident. The shooting occurred at 8:00 a.m. on March 25, and the victim was exiting Interstate 55 south onto Highway 463 when her vehicle was shot at. Police were able to locate Blackmore's vehicle and recover a firearm at the scene. The victim's vehicle sustained damage, but she was unharmed. Blackmore has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and the motive behind the incident is still being investigated.

Jackson police arrest man after victim shot in head
SUMMARY: Jackson police arrested suspect Barnett Evans after a shooting at an apartment complex on Raymond Road. The victim, who was shot in the head, was involved in a fight with Evans which led to the incident. After fleeing the scene, Evans was located at a home on Treehaven Drive and convinced to surrender by a hostage negotiator. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
