Two teens charged with capital murder in Jackson shooting
SUMMARY: Two teenagers, Josh Williams and Janiyah Williams, were arrested for a fatal shooting at Sykes Park in 2023 in Jackson, Mississippi. They were charged with capital murder for the incident where the victim was shot in the 500 block of Sykes Road and had his vehicle stolen. The victim died from his injuries at the scene. Mississippi State baseball walks-off St. John’s in first game of Charlottesville Regional

Missing Child Alert issued for Clarke County teen
SUMMARY: A Missing/Endangered Child Alert has been issued for 16-year-old Amiya Nikole Fleming from Enterprise, Clarke County, Mississippi. She was last seen on Thursday, May 30 around 11:45 p.m. in the Clarke County Road area. Amiya suffers from a medical condition that may impair her judgment. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) and her family are seeking public assistance in locating her. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Clarke County Sheriff's Department at 601-776-3956 or call 911. A photo of Amiya has been shared as part of the alert.
