Jackson mother denied bond in death of one-year-old son
SUMMARY: Yolanda Hunter was denied bond today and charged with capital murder for the death of a child in December. Investigators found that the baby died after being severely beaten, resulting in a lacerative liver from blunt force trauma. Captain Chakita Childs described the child as having bruises all over his body, some at least a week old. Hunter's boyfriend, Herman Coleman, is also facing charges related to the child's death and is currently being sought by police. An arrest warrant has been issued for Coleman, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Jackson Police Department.
