Rain and Atmospheric River in Long Beach Put Coastal Properties at Risk
SUMMARY: After days of heavy rain, Long Beach, California and other coastal communities are finally seeing some sunshine. However, the work is far from over as crews are working to strengthen barriers against tides and heavy surf, and clear storm drainage to prevent urban flooding. Despite the relief of the sun, another round of rain and atmospheric river is forecasted for the weekend. The community is staying vigilant to ensure the protection of coastal properties and the safety of homes and businesses.
Wether Channel Correspondent Justin Michaels reports from Long Beach, CA covering the California Atmospheric River.
