Seven rescued by law enforcement after being stuck on sandbar in Monroe County

The sheriff noted that the water rose rapidly due to a storm miles upstream, creating a deceptive and dangerous situation for the swimmers.

Scouting America Troop becomes first group to complete “Natchez Trace Historic Trek”

Covering a total of 60 miles, this accomplishment marks Troop 85 as the first to achieve this feat.
