SUMMARY: An association is helping to continue making improvements to the downtown area, with thousands of people gathered in Hattiesburg for the annual Caerus Mardi Gras parade. The parade began at the corner of Service Road and West 4th Street and ended on 38th Avenue at Morningside. Several dance teams and bands also participated in the event, which featured floats from businesses, churches, and other organizations. This is the third year of the parade, and it brings people from different backgrounds together to have fun and enjoy the festivities.
