SUMMARY: The city of Hattiesburg will consider adding new technology like drones and traffic cameras, but leaders want to hear from neighbors before making any decisions. The mayor says that the new technology will include automated license plate readers or ALPRs, cameras in school zones, radar cameras, and drones to help first responders. Residents have been given a survey asking their thoughts on where money received from fines should go and expressed privacy concerns.
