$53,000 grant will help Mississippians enhance their digital skills
SUMMARY: Mississippians will receive help in learning digital skills to improve job opportunities, thanks to a $53,000 grant received by the Mississippi State University extension service center. The grant will support the implementation of the 4H Tech Change Makers program, which will teach digital skills using technology such as iPads and drones. Agents in multiple counties, including Chaka KNX and Itala, will train 40 adults. The program aims to reach over 10,000 adults across the country this year and will be offered for free.
