Former Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year cleared to play for Ole Miss
SUMMARY: The Ole Miss men's basketball team celebrated a 72-52 win against NC State and the clearance of Moussa Cisse for the season. Cisse, a former Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and Oklahoma State transfer, was dressed but did not play in the recent game. The seven-foot center had been sidelined due to NCAA approval delays. Coach Chris Beard managed without Cisse using other tall transfers and hopes for NCAA clearance of another transfer, Brandon Murray. The undefeated Rebels face Memphis next, Cisse's original college team, led by Penny Hardaway. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN and local SuperTalk Mississippi stations.
