Tallahatchie River Fest 2023 expected to bring in hundreds of visitors

SUMMARY: Tallahatchie Riverfest is starting this Thursday with various events in New Albany, Mississippi. It is a biannual event that raises money for the Faulkner garden and celebrates William Faulkner's birthday. On Friday, there will be a literary competition award ceremony. The main festival begins on Saturday with a river run, vendors, and a Kid Zone. The music lineup includes Justin Kirk and Company, Solace, The Machines, Tyler Reece Trit, and Little Texas. The concert is free and open to the public. The event takes place in historic downtown New Albany and is expected to have great weather.

Organizers are preparing for this year's Tallahatchie River Fest.
