Rain didn’t deter art admirers from attending downtown Prairie Arts Festival
SUMMARY: The 45th annual Prairie Arts Festival in West Point, despite threats of rain, attracted loyal enthusiasts who braved occasional showers to enjoy the event. With over 200 vendors offering fine arts, handmade crafts, and live music, the festival was a success. Even though it rained on Friday night, vendors still set up and the crowd on Saturday was not dampened. The festival also included a competition with prizes awarded for various art forms such as painting, photography, and sculpture. Overall, it was considered one of the best festivals in West Point in a long time.
The threat of rain didn't stop the 45th annual Prairie Arts Festival as vendors and shoppers dealt with the occasional shower.
