Four Mississippi alligator hunters break state record with catch
SUMMARY: Four hunters in Mississippi have broken the state record for the longest alligator ever harvested. The group captured a male alligator measuring 14 feet and 3 inches long, with a weight of 802.5 lbs. The gator was captured in the West Central Alligator Hunting Zone on August 26 by hunters Tanner White, Don Woods, Will Thomas, and Joey Clark. This new record-breaking alligator surpasses the previous state record.
