Favre remains in Mississippi welfare lawsuit
SUMMARY: Mississippi Supreme Court ruled that Brett Favre will stay in the lawsuit over misspent welfare money. Favre's attorneys argued that he was not involved in the effort to redirect $5 million to a new volleyball arena at his alma mater, Southern Miss, while his daughter was on the team. The Department of Human Services argued that Favre needs to repay the money.
